Gurgler

Materials:

Tail: 2-4" of pearl and silver flashabou and whatever other flash you would like to add!
Body: is large white crystal chenille
Throat: "gills" red crystal flash
Body:  White closed cell foam , thickness depends on size of hook.
I use chartreuse foam for dorado.
Tip: Use Softex to stiffen and toughen foam and then thin coat of epoxy over the lip for stiffness.  A loop of #20 mono can be tied in at the head extending forward to also stiffen the lip.

Have caught numerous large mouth bass and dorado with this fly .  It often works best when cast and left sitting, because the slightest ripple of water moves the tail enticingly and it reflects the light like magic, attracting aggressive boils!
