Local Surf and Kayak Fishing

About Gary Bulla : With a Golden Trevally
It is our intent to offer adventures that are a little different, a little closer to our natural surroundings. We try to include a general understanding of the geology, hydrology, and flora and fauna. The Gulf of California and the waters and rivers of the Southern California Coast are noted for their abundance and diversity of species. But they contain habitats and species that have been obliterated or are threatened. Understanding a little more about the pristine worlds into which we are casting our hopes makes it all the more interesting and alluring. If we are going to replenish our souls, or even just stick fish, why leave a trail of any sort? We choose to keep our groups limited in size and practice catch and release. And the grace of fly fishing lends itself well to walking along a beach or the stealth of a kayak sliding along. This is fun stuff.

Gary is available for guided fly fishing trips to Southern California beaches. California Guide's License No. 2861
